Mike Davis is the retired Chief Investigator of Insurance Investigation
Specialists. A former Police Officer and Property Insurance
Adjuster, he founded the company in 1981.
Education includes Indiana University, First Honors graduate of the
Marion County Sheriff Department Training Academy, a
graduate of the Kodak Forensic Photography School,
Certificate of Merit - RFSI General Casualty Training
Course, and a graduate of the Insurance Technical Training
Institute in Dallas, Texas.
Mike has written several articles
on Insurance Investigation and has taught at numerous
seminars. His 'DATABASE INVESTIGATION TECHNIQUES' presentation with animation and sound, has been seen by many requesting companies and seminars. He has consulted for the entertainment industry and corporations for film making. This comes from a previous background in writing and acting.
Mike was a member of the International Fire
Photographers Association, and the International
Association of Arson Investigators. He was Chairman of
the Indiana State Fire Marshal Committee on Arson from 1985-1993.
Mike Davis is the 1996 National winner of the F. Lee Brininger
"Investigator of the Year" award, the highest honor in the
National Society of Professional Insurance Investigators. He is the first Indiana Investigator to receive the prestigious honor. Mike is also the 1999 winner of the Dennis T. Nebergall Award, the highest honor in the NSPII Indiana Chapter. He can be seen in the NAMIC (National
